About Our Tours

Our tours are cultural, historic and adventure trips in a developing country. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions page for more information about these trips. Travelers must understand that the living conditions and practices in Mali are not the same as in their home countries, and must be ready to experience cultural differences with grace.

Tourists are more than welcome to make their own schedule for the trip to Mali and can choose tour days and places of interest to meet their expectations because our tours are not limited only to the 7-day, 8-day, 15-day and Dogon trekking packages.

Mali Trips offers these packages with or without international airplane tickets (NEW YORK - BAMAKO and BAMAKO - NEW YORK).

Travelers can also choose from:

• FULL BOARD:
  • Hotels/villas or camps
  • All meals are provided
  • Transfer from and to the airport of Bamako
  • Ground transportation fees to the tour sites
  • Tour fees and taxes
  • Boat fees (for sailing on the river and lakes)
  • Professional, local and multilingual guides
  • Private car and driver.
• HALF BOARD:
  • Hotels/villas or camps
  • Breakfast and lunch
  • Transfer from and to the airport of Bamako
  • Transportation to the sites
  • Guides
  • Food and beverages NOT included
• BED & BREAKFAST:
  • Hotels/villas or camps
  • Breakfast only
  • Transfer from and to the airport of Bamako
  • Lunch, dinner, beverages and transportations for the tour are at the tourist(s) expense.

Good deals are offered to groups of four people or more. Also, if the international airplane tickets for at least a group of four are purchased by Mali Trips, one of our guides residing in the US may go with that group.

Travelers must also keep in mind that in some areas where hotels/villas are not available, travelers will be sleeping in their sleeping bags and tents.
