FESTIVAL TAMADACHT: In Anderamboucane, where people from Mali, Niger and Algeria meet. PLACE: KAYES- MEDINE-KONIAKARI (MALI) PERIOD: FEBRUARY INTERNATINAL FESTIVAL OF THE SONGHOY ARTS AND CULTURE: For the conservation and the promotion of the Songhoy culture in GAO. PLACE: GAO (MALI) PERIOD: MARCH MASKS AND PUPPETS FESTIVAL OF MARKALA: Through which manifestations and rituals the Bambara tribe proves its attachment to its culture. PLACE: MARKALA (MALI) PERIOD: MARCH THE WORLD DAY OF TOURISME: (In Tamesna and the Adrar: October 2007), Kidal and the city of Essouk welcome the festivities of that day.
